The Firs

Neutral, rustic and oh-so-exciting, this quintessential English kitchen does something rare: combining that charming farmhouse feel with the clean and contemporary look of a modern townhouse. And it does it without skipping a beat. From the natural stone flooring to the natural light that floods through the beautiful bay window, to the gorgeously high ceilings, The Firs is a celebration of age-old character brought to life by creativity and calm. The wall of Normandy Grey cabinets that add personalised practicality, the Ho Ho Green island that celebrates fun and function, the Quooker taps and mirrored backsplash that create new moments, all brought together by the patinated brass handles–this is a kitchen as it should be: tranquil, pragmatic and packed full of features. What a place to call home.

At first glance, the combination of wooden floors, dark cabinets and marble worktops give this space all the foundations of a traditional English kitchen. But look a little closer and you’ll discover a space that knows how to have fun with the basics. From the framed cubbyholes to the quirky brass handles, the double-hinged larder doors to the state-of-the-art appliances, this is a kitchen that combines more than meets the eye. Bridge Cottage

One of our favourite kitchens to date, this beautiful Cotswold cottage was an absolute privilege for us to work with and we think the results speak for themselves. Finished in Studio Green with a Graphite Everhot range, the whole kitchen is framed beautifully by the limestone walls and the raw oak beams. The boot area on the other side of the room is the perfect space to return to after a long country walk, who wouldn’t want to come home to this stunning kitchen.
